Like a fine wine
33.
Growing up, I thought life ended at 30. I didn't think I'd ever see the day. I thought that if I did, I would be miserable, washed-up, OLD. I didn't see much use in any life that could possibly exist afterward. I thought that way! I really did. It's crazy to think about it now. My life has only gotten better since then. And this has been one of the most life changing years thus far. It has been truly wonderful. I must admit that reading back over the posts, I see that it started out rough. I am so grateful for all of the positive changes, new people, and new opportunities that I have had in the last year. I only see it getting better.
My perspective on life is positive. I am comfortable with myself as a person. That's something I could never say before. There are still things that I'd like to change, but if it stayed the same that would be okay. I have a wonderful son, a job I'm happy to be at and a super fun family!
Looking back at my monumental 33rd year moments there are many. I started to run. I stopped hating myself for bad choices in my past. They are no longer called regrets, they are called "learning opportunities". I have learned so much about myself and how truly powerful I am! (muahaha) I played with boys. I nurtured relationships with friends. I made many good memories with great feelings attached! I cherish this year. Things keep getting better. Looking forward to what 34 has for me. :)
